Let's Make It Better!

How could I take this wonderful multimedia production skills blog and make it even better? By embedding videos, chart and maps into my blog!

So, as I'm sure all you D.C. folks know we had some crazy snowstorms over the past week causing the Federal Government to shut down for four work days, for D.C. public schools to be closed all week and for AU to be closed for most of this past week. On Saturday many people braved the cold, wind, snow and Metro to head over to DuPont Circle to take part in a giant snowball fight! Check out the video:

There are plenty of places to play in the snow, even right at A.U. Check out this interactive map where I've pointed out my three top places for snow adventures!

  1. Snowpocalypse 2010 will NEVER be forgotten. And that snowball fight looks intense! Haha. I know my friends had a snowball fight, but the rule was that you had to throw at least one snowball before you could go back into the house and it lasted about 10 minutes...they were clearly playing with the wrong people!

  2. I kind of wish I was at that snowball fight now haha. I like the way you break up your text here by using the video and the map. It makes the post much more user friendly and saves us from not reading one long, test-filled post. Next time another Snowpocalypse invades D.C. I will definitely be checking out that park at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Macomb St. for some serious snowball fighting and snowman making.
